Well, let's face it...
After the last two years, we at Sun Gallery agreed that it's all been more than a little overwhelming & what we were desperately in need of, was a little sanctuary.
So, we drew on what energy we could muster toward the end of another difficult year, & created one. One that we would like to share with you.
Our winter exhibition featuring 4 artists that we are super-pleased to have with us for the next chapter:
Gillian Adair McFarland; Caroline McGonigal; Iona Brown; Elvey Stedman.
Imaginatively curated by our very own gallery manager, Victoria Scrivener-Anderson, Sanctuary is a beautifully balanced mix of established & emerging talented artists in their own right.
We have loved putting this show together & delighted in seeing themes emerging as the exhibition grew & formed to become the cohesive entity that envelopes you upon entering the gallery.
We hope that you will experience the delight and wonder that has been created by this coming together of these four featured exciting artists.
Oh! & did I mention that we also hung a fresh new mixed exhibition wall to run concurrently. Showcasing multi-disciplinary work by: Mairi Helena; Gill Knight; Alison McIntyre; Hazel McLeod; John Anderson; Victoria Scrivener-Anderson; Callum Murray; Sylvia Tarvit; Jim Stott & more that we will just have to wait for the next blog post to talk about.
Quite frankly, the whole thing's a treat!
Come see, wonder, relax, delight, buy (if you like). Be kind to yourself. Support each other.
Now, I do believe there's a bit of framing to get through...!
